Cold Steel, Tanto Lite, model 2020

Following the overwhelming success of the Pendleton Lite Hunter, Cold Steel® has decided to make a more economical version of the incredibly popular Tanto series. It resembles its more expensive counterpart in many ways (with similar blade, guard and pommel) but features a 4034SS stainless steel blade and a newly designed handle. The handle is made in two parts. It features a polypropylene guard, pommel and core section which envelopes the knife's full tang. The core is then over-molded in a deeply checkered Kray-Ex™ for a non-slip grip that's easily cleaned with soap and water. To carry your knife safely and conveniently in the field, Cold Steel® is including a pouch-style versatile low-profile polymer sheath with integral belt loop that can be easily worn on your hip or tucked into your pack or tackle box. 2020 Model - The Tanto Lite with 4034SS blade replaces the discontinued 4116 steel version (Product No. CST-20T / 20TZ). 4034 Stainless Steel (4034SS) A Japanese-made medium-grade stainless steel that admirably resists corrosion due to its higher chromium content. It is also relatively easy to sharpen and features a moderate degree of wear resistance. Often used for kitchen cutlery or for smaller knives that are of a generally good quality but economically priced.
