Ralph Mardindale, Golok No. 2 Machete

This is the same machete used by Britain's SAS Military Forces made by Ralph Martindale & Company who has been making machetes for over 125 years. This "Crocodile" Golok No.2 is manufactured from high carbon quality British steel with a 45-50 Rockwell hardness. The strip is tapered in section to optimise the unique cutting characteristics with the weight of the tool and is therefore lightweight and easy to use. The blade is roll forged to give an outstandingly well balanced tool to meet the arduous demands of outdoor use. To say that these Machetes are tough and reliable is an understatement! This Martindale handle is made from German beech wood that was cross-sawn for maximum strength and stability and the handle is fitted to the blade with solid steel rivets and washers. Comes with a canvas sheath and an authentic "Crocodile" file. Polished finish. Not aesthetically pristine and may have minor blemishes that are not considered defective.
