The name of the Pangui Knife is inspired by the claw of a cougar. The "Mapuche" people, also called "Araucanos," inhabitants of Chile, in their original "MapudungĂșn" language, referred to as the cougar or "mountain lion" as the "Pangui." Designed by Walter A Matthews to be carried around the neck, it features a natural finish 1095 high carbon steel blade, walnut wood scales, and a handcrafted welted leather sheath with ball chain.
