The Cold Steel Leatherneck series consists of two different and iconic knife styles, both of which have proven exceptionally popular with our brothers and sisters in the armed forces. The Leatherneck-SF (Semper-Fi) features a beautifully hand-sharpened saber-ground clip point blade, while the Leatherneck Tanto showcases our signature Cold Steel "American Tanto" blade with a robust reinforced point for added strength. Both are made from strong D2 tool steel with a non-reflective black powder coating. To prevent the user's fingers from sliding forward onto the sharp edge, the Leathernecks come equipped with a solid steel double quillon guard. The handles are made from deeply checkered Kray-Ex™ that fully envelops the extra wide, full tang of the Leathernecks. The handle of the Leatherneck features a thick, machined steel pommel (no cheap castings or plastic like some others on the market) so that they can even serve as a hammer in case of emergency! To carry the Leatherneck knives safely and conveniently, each blade comes with a sturdy and versatile military-style Secure-Ex sheath with fully detachable and ambidextrous belt loop options.
